You will discover the most potent diet pills on the market.
First a quick overview, apple cider vinegar is fermented apple juice. A popular appetite suppressant that is often sold in liquid form or capsules.
First apples are cut or crushed and combined with yeast to convert their sugar into alcohol. Second, bacteria is added to ferment the alcohol into acetic acid.”
Well it’s a bit like sliced bread without being as useful.!
Sliced bread was not a great step for mankind…
but it did make life a little easier.
In some ways it heralded the consumer society. Where companies found smart ways to package the same products but it was a useful advance.
Goli has kind of taken this same principle.
And dispensed with the useful part:)
It has repackaged a very useful and common appetite suppressant and put some earrings on it.
Now you might think wow how exciting.
I can chew a tasty gummy every day instead of having to taste the horrible cider.
However does that really hold true?
When is the last time you felt the need to chew a paracetamol?
Would it help you if a paracetamol was made into a soft gummy or would you just swallow the tablet?
The bigger objective in my opinion is losing weight and being healthy.
Is this product better then other apple cider products?
And how good is Goli apple cider vinegar compared to best dieting supplements in our TOP10?
Remember to check the rankings at the bottom of the page!
But first read on.
We have some goodies for you!

BBC good food guide
(BBC is UK Broadcaster funded by taxpayer, It is a not for profit organisation respected for its scientific programs)
“Apple cider vinegar doesn’t really contain any vitamins or minerals, other than a very small amount of potassium, calcium and magnesium. There isn’t enough research at the moment to demonstrate that buying the ‘mother’ variety is any better for you than buying filtered. However, apple cider vinegar does also contain amino acids and antioxidants”
U.S. National Library of Medicine.
(Respected non profit government scientific organisation. Probably the most cited website for weight loss related studies)“Increased intake of dietary carbohydrate that is fermented in the colon by the microbiota has been reported to decrease body weight, although the mechanism remains unclear”
Dietician Sarah Flower
(Respected nutrition expert)
“In fact, drinking four teaspoons of vinegar before a high-carb meal helped to prevent blood sugar spikes. And if you’re counting your calories, research found that acetic acid stops your body from absorbing the calories from carbs.”
Leading Harley Street nutritionist Rhiannon Lambert
(Harley Street is a prestigious location for top medical practitioners in London. UK)
“The largest and most cited study I’ve found with regards to weight loss and apple cider vinegar included 175 Japanese, overweight, but otherwise healthy subjects. Over three months, they drank up to two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Results showed absolutely no significant difference between the placebo group and those who drank it.”
Dr James Brown from Aston University
(Respected academic source)
Metabolism researcher Dr James Brown from Aston University carried out 2 studies and his findings were as follows.
“We found no significant weight loss in any group.
There was no significant reduction in the inflammation markers of any group.
There was no improvement in any group’s glucose tolerance or change in glycated haemoglobin. We saw a significant drop in total cholesterol in the blood in just eight weeks”
(For profit respected science website based in the United States)
“Acetic acid is a short-chain fatty acid that dissolves into acetate and hydrogen in your body. Some animal studies suggest that the acetic acid in apple cider vinegar may promote weight loss in several ways”
- Lowers insulin levels
- Reduced fat storage
- Increased metabolism
- Lowers blood sugar levels
- Fat burning
- Appetite suppressant
So in summary studies on rodents have shown positive results.
but the balance of scientific opinion sais this..
Apple cider vinegar has no major effect on weight loss.
In one study people lost on average 2 to 4lbs over 3 months.
That said more studies showed no weight loss.
On the plus side some research did suggest apple cider vinegar can lower cholesterol.
Anecdotal evidence from customer reviews however shows ACV receives a favourable percentage of positive reviews for weight loss compared to weight loss supplements.
Make sure you check the reviews at the bottom of the page for real independant customer reviews which we actually check for authenticity! You can also share your opinion!
You should always be cautious of amazon reviews.
Because we have unearthed numerous examples of suspicious reviews.
We always recommend checking negative reviews first.
Especially for comments relating to free bottles being offered for reviews.
When you look at positive reviews ask yourself this question.
Does the review unnaturally mention key selling points mentioned in the company promotion?
If so the review on amazon is probably fake we can not overstate how widespread this practise is.
Now let’s get to the Goli ACV gummy benefits.
We will list the claims for you and then address each one in turn.
You should not assume they are all true!
- Gummy that tastes better than the liquid form
- It uses pure GMO Ingredients
- Goli Apple Cider gummy is made with real apples
- Certified organic, allergen free and Kosher
- Helps digestion
- Improves your complexion.
- Helps detoxify your body.
- Promotes a healthy heart
- Enhances energy
- The Gummies do not use gelatin
It’s a Gummy that tastes better than the liquid form.
Is it really a great benefit that for a few seconds every day you can chew a gummy instead of swallowing one pill?
Does it justify being 3 times more expensive than other similar ACV products?
Yes it may be better for some then using the liquid form but on the other hand many people like using apple cider in liquid form and adding it directly to food or their skin.
As you have discovered hype around the “mother variety” is probably a marketing ploy because there is no scientific information to substantiate the claims that the mother variety gives additional benefit..
It uses pure GMO Ingredients.
Goli sais it uses the “purest non-GMO ingredients. They have no preservatives, chemicals, or artificial ingredients”
A closer look at this reveals many supplements being sold in the United States make the same claim. It is good but not out of the ordinary nor does it set Goli apart from the competition
“non-GMO” means that the food is made without genetically engineered organisms”
Goli Apple Cider gummy is made with real apples.
This would give the impression other suppliers use mutated apples that are unsafe.
Remember over the counter weight loss supplements in the USA do not get tested by the FDA Before release.
I could not see evidence on the official Goli website that they use a GMP approved facility. GMP refers to facilities that sign up to good manufacturing practices of hygiene and quality control.
In the customer question and answer section on Amazon I did notice the following statement by the company but have yet been able to verify the Information.
“We’re proud to say that Goli is made in California in an FDA registered, cGMP certified and allergen-free facility”
Certified organic, allergen free and Kosher.
This is great but is it third party tested? A little more detail is needed as to how it is certified and by whom. I am sure you will be happy it’s made in the USA but be aware there have been many complaints about delivery time.
“ACV enjoys a fairly popular reputation for enhancing digestion. The rationale is that ACV enhances the secretion of digestive enzymes and increases stomach acid, both of which would help you to optimally digest the food you have eaten. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of scientific evidence to back this theory”
Improves your complexion.
www.realsimple.com Dr Gathers
“While it may be helpful for some people’s skin issues, it’s important to know there haven’t been any good studies to support the claims people make about using ACV as a skin treatment.”
www.refinery29.com. Dr. Fichtel and Dr. Mack both
Dr. Fichtel and Dr. Mack both stress that those with extremely sensitive skin will do better avoiding ACV altogether. “I would not recommend this for patients with sensitive or dry skin,” Dr. Mack says. “Due to its acidic nature, malic acid is innately irritating. People who have very dry skin, eczema, or even facial redness or rosacea may experience flare-ups of their conditions and are more likely to develop a contact allergy.”
Helps detoxify your body
Mary Wirtz, R.D.N., L.D.N., of the Mayo Clinic Healthy Living Program
“It’s important to remember that with these fads—these crazes—there’s a lot of unknowns,” adds Wirtz, “and people fail to realize that these things can actually harm your body.” Vinegar can irritate the lining of your throat, stomach and digestive tract, especially when taken on an empty stomach, and may create acid reflux-like symptoms. Plus, there’s no evidence that frequent use is safe long-term.
“The effect of vinegar on your metabolism is so modest that it is unlikely to result in noticeable weight loss unless it is combined with other strategies, such as eating less”
Because Goli have had to use more ingredients then is normally found in apple cider supplements it actually contains more calories, carbs and sugar.
Apple cider vinegar (5% acetic acid)
Vitamin B9 folic acid
On its own science suggest ACV gives modest weight loss benefits at best.~
In our opinion, however it can be a useful healthy ingredient to mix with to other more potent weight loss ingredients.
Goli ACV has more calories, sugar and carbs than other apple cider supplements
For this reason is not included in our top 10.
However apple cider vinegar does feature as an ingredient in the top 3 supplements.
If I was to describe ACV it in a sentence I would say it was “steady Jim who you can take home to mother” Used in moderation apple cider vinegar is steady mild appetite suppressant. To get super exciting results we recommend supercharging steady Jim and giving him a six pack by adding some more brutish ingredients
Here is a surprise for you.
One of the top 3 supplements includes ACV but also another fruit based ingredient mentioned in a very interesting study.
In the study carried out by “Lipids in Health and Disease” people who took this fruit based ingredient lost 28.6lbs in 10 weeks.
We reveal more at the the end of the article!
In summary, most studies show no weight loss benefits by taking ACV and one study shows modest weight loss of 2 to 4lbs over 3 months.
Studies showing benefits were carried out on rodents.
Nature.com International journal of obesity.
The promotion of vinegar as a natural appetite suppressant does not seem appropriate, particularly in view of the potential health risks.7, 8, 9, 10, 11
The most widely quoted study of humans is a 2009 trial of 175 people who consumed a drink containing 0, 1, or 2 tablespoons of vinegar each day. After three months, those who consumed vinegar had modest weight loss (2 to 4 pounds) and lower triglyceride levels than those who drank no vinegar. Another small study found that vinegar consumption promoted feeling fuller after eating, but that it did so by causing nausea. Neither of these studies (and none I could find in a medical literature search) specifically studied apple cider vinegar
Harvard medical school.
- Vinegar should be diluted. Its high acidity can damage tooth enamel when sipped “straight” — consuming it as a component of vinaigrette salad dressing is a better way.
- It has been reported to cause or worsen low potassium levels. That’s particularly important for people taking medications that can lower potassium (such as common diuretics taken to treat high blood pressure).
- Vinegar can alter insulin levels. People with diabetes should be particularly cautious about a high vinegar diet.
There are no instructions readily available on the official Goli website.
this is not ideal in our opinion because ACV can come with side effects.
Here my guidance to keep you safe.
500 mg is equivalent to two liquid teaspoons (10 ml)
15 to 30 ml is recommended for weight loss when used in liquid form.
For weight loss it is probably unwise to take more than 1500mg or 3 gummies.
Be aware that 500mg is a common dose in ACV dedicated supplements.
The official website states one bottle of 60 gummies is a months supply but
In Fact 1500mg is most commonly recommended for weight loss which is
3 gummies per day so in reality one bottle would more likely contain 20 days supply.
1 Bottle is currently priced at $19
3 Bottles $57
6 Bottles $95
Does this represent good value for apple cider vinegar compared to other stockists of ACV?
Not in our opinion.
When you consider one bottle of AVC from the mother is $4.
Another factor is apple cider vinegar has mild effects on weight loss so really needs to be mixed with more potent Ingredients to really bring about big weight loss.
Goli can be purchased from the official website, Amazon and on Ebay.
We are disappointed:(
Goli only offers you a 30 day return option and
Only in the event that you don’t take the supplement return it unopened.
A quick look at Havasu Nutrition who also supply ACV shows they are more generous and offer this…
An amazing no questions asked guarantee even if you have opened the bottle and don’t like it.
Havasu Nutrition ACV offer a much better guarantee then Goli!
“as part of our 60-Day Money Back Guarantee we will refund your money if you are not fully satisfied – no questions asked! Just send us an email”

Have you done detailed research that your product is as effective as the mother liquid itself?
Answer: Great question!
I’m happy to say that the Apple Cider Vinegar used in Goli is with “the mother”, it is unrefined, unfiltered and unpasteurized, containing enzymes and probiotics which promote good health. The mother is the source of all the health benefits of ACV, in other words, you’ll get only the best nutrients with Goli!
